The lady Wolverines were victorious over the Berkshire Badgers 10-2 on Friday afternoon. Jocelyn Moores earned the victory in the circle, and Keira Williams led the offense going 4 for 4 at the plate, including a homer in the fourth. Tara Gall and Shae Malone also hit one over the fence, adding to the run tally for a complete Wolverine victory.

Additionally, a shout out to Frankee Flesher and Tara Gall for being named two of the CVC Players of the Week in April. Congratulations, ladies!

The Geauga Growth Partnership (GGP) offers juniors and seniors in high school the unique experience of learning about potential career pathways, while gaining workplace skills and earning wages! Become a GGP Intern this summer! The applications period is open until today!. Go to the school counseling office for more information.

GGP is partnering with Ohio Means Jobs to offer a Virtual Job Fair on May 4th for students who are seeking employment. This job fair will include 25 local employers who are seeking to hire now! This is a great opportunity for students to connect with local businesses, obtain employment and potentially get started on a career path! For information see the job board on the school counseling webpage, or go to the school counseling office.

Senior Decision Day is May 3rd and will be held in room 124 during your English class. We will be celebrating all of the seniors' post high school plans. If you do not have an English class at the high school please stop in during a study hall or free time.

Attention those interested in cheerleading!

There will be a cheer clinic held from Monday, April 26th - Thursday, April 29th from 4 - 8 pm in the school gym. Tryouts will be held on Friday, April 30th starting at 4:15pm. Email coach Alison Nicely at alison.nicely@westg.org with any questions.
