Dear students, in light of the recent tragedy in Texas, we want to remind everyone of our safety and security measures that must be followed. Please do not prop open any exit/entrance doors for any reason. Furthermore, the only entrance that you may use during school hours (7:25am - 2:15pm) is the main entrance on the south side of the building. This is the side of the building closest to the library. Students are not permitted to allow students into the building from a non-main entrance door. Again, if you park on the west side or north side of the building, you must enter the building at the main entrance on the south side, near the library. Students who are caught entering the school at an entrance other than the main entrance, or allowing students into the building, will face consequences. Every single person who enters the building during the school day must be buzzed in through the main entrance. Additionally, make sure that if you See Something, Say Something to an adult in the building. This includes any threats both online or in person. Thank you all for following these safety and security measures to keep our campus safe.

Looking to get into great shape this summer and fall?  Do you enjoy spending time at the parks, working out, and even running on the trails?  If so, contact coach Boylan or Taurasi to sign up for cross country next fall!  Summer info will be sent out soon so don't miss out!  Athletes will be meeting in mid June to start workouts and get involved in summer road races as well!

Attention sophomores! Anyone who is interested in applying for NHS next year, there will be an informational/Q&A meeting on Friday, June 3rd during 5a in room 105. If you have any questions about the process please plan on attending.

Our Envirothon teams traveled to Kent State in Salem last Thursday for the regional competition. Envirothon is a competition that tests participants on their knowledge of the environment and natural resources. Congratulations to Jane Javorek, Aiden Murley-Schaffer, Ryan McGinnis, and Phillip Moore on placing fifth in the northeast Ohio district. Their team is the first alternate to go to the state competition. Great job demonstrating your environmental knowledge while representing West Geauga!
