The National Honor Society will be running a children's' book drive starting Monday of next week and running until Easter break. Please bring in children's books that are in good condition. There will be a collection bin near Mr. Rader's room and one near the main office. Contact Mr. Rader or Finn Pitcock if you have any questions.


The Geauga Wolverines Ice Hockey Team is holding tryouts for the 22-23 season on Saturday April 2nd and Sunday April 3rd. The team is co-ed and is open to high school students from any school district. New skaters and goalies with the drive to  excel and willing to put in time over the summer are welcome. Please see Mr. Patti or email Denise Garrett for more info. 


Students who plan on continuing with CCP OR who will be new CCP students for the 2022 - 2023 school year need to complete a mandatory letter of intent by April 1, 2022.  This includes students who plan to take CCP courses in the WGHS building, or, on a college campus.  There are no exceptions to the April 1 deadline.  Please see your counselor with any questions.


There is an Environment Club meeting tomorrow, Friday April 1st in room 114 during 5a. We will take ideas, discuss our goals, and how to go about achieving them. Feel free to stop in!

Scheduling for next school year is starting!  Make sure you check your Counseling google classroom for your class for the sign up to meet with your counselor!  Juniors - sessions start today and run through Tuesday, March 8th.  Sophomores - your times run from Wednesday, March 9th through Friday, March 11th.  Freshmen - your sign up is not posted in your Counseling google classroom yet, but will be soon - keep checking!  Your sessions will be March 14th through March 16th.  Any questions or if you don't have access to your Counseling google classroom, please see Mrs. Porter.


Also, starting March 5th, please follow the directions posted on Google Classroom about how to complete the rest of your scheduling requests with electives and additional courses.  You will be using the Academic Planner on Infinite Campus.

 On Friday, March 4th, WGHS Student Council will be hosting a blood drive at the high school from 8am to 1:30pm in the Main Gym. You must register for an appointment in order to donate at the drive. 

Donors must be at least 16 years  and meet all donor requirements.

 Appointments will fill up, so register ASAP if you want a spot!

If you are 16 years old you will need a parental form to register. Please see Mrs. Meyer to register! 

It is your responsibility to choose a time that works for your class schedule and to make up any work you miss while you are donating blood! No walk-In donations will be allowed.
