Congratulations to West Geauga's Academic Decathlon team. This past Saturday, the 10 members of the team successfully defended their Division 2 state champion status for the fourth year in a row, They also finished third in the state overall. A special congratulations to Sofya Goncharenko, Noah Carty, and Liz Piekarski for their extremely high scores.



Attention Seniors! The West Geauga Kiwanis Club is now accepting scholarship applications. Applications are due by April 2nd! You can find this and many other scholarship opportunities in Naviance and the school counseling office (some with deadlines quickly approaching) - make sure you check them out!


Attention seniors: The West Geauga Education Association will be offering a scholarship to a senior who will begin his/her freshman year in college in the fall of 2021. Applicants must be pursuing a career in education, or be the son or daughter of an educator. Preference will be given to applicants pursuing a career in education. Academic achievement, community involvement, and activities will also be considered. See your school counselor for an application. The deadline is March 12.

LEAF will be holding the following VIRTUAL session on Wednesday, February 17th, 2021 at 6:30 p.m.:  Freshmen/Sophomores: Prepare for the College Process is for high school freshmen, sophomores, and their parents. Underclassmen, it’s great to be proactive about the college search! Learn what high school freshmen and sophomores do to prepare for college. Get tips on how to make the most of your high school experiences and begin the process of finding a good fit for your future. Please register for your VIRTUAL session online at leaf-ohio.org/resource-center-sessions/, or call 440.525.7095 to reserve a seat. Reservations are required, capacity is limited. The sessions are free. Parents are encouraged to watch with their student.
