Congratulations to all of the participants in the 2020 Kiwanis of West Geauga STEM Fair!

Ryan McGinnis placed first in the Individual Project event.

Bryn Morgan placed second and

Allison George placed third.

Ryan, Bryn and Allison along with Thomas Mansfield, Holly Jeunnette, Liz Piekarski, and Rae Ehrbar qualified to move on to the Western Reserve District 5 STEM Fair where they will compete against students from numerous northeast Ohio schools for a chance to enter the Ohio State Science Day fair.

Miguel Del Valle - third place


Winners of the Junk Box War event are:

Robert Sunderhaft & James Horowitz - first place

Michael Pattison, Neil Whitmore & Frank Hanna - second place and best design

Steven Hensley, Jillian Smith & Aubrey Zanella - third place
Seniors: Please check your email. The yearbook staff has sent out the voting form for this year's senior superlatives. Voting will end January 30.

There will be an informational meeting for anyone interested in College Credit Plus today at 7:00 pm in Room 124. Lakeland Community College will provide the presentation and other local colleges will attend to share information and answer questions. It is recommended for all interested students to attend with a parent. If you are a current CCP student you do not need to attend. Please see your counselor for more information.

Seniors - Your senior class fashion show is quickly approaching. This is a great event hosted by your After Prom parents. The show is on February 23rd from 1:00 to 4:30. Be sure to sign up to be a model during 5A and 5B today in the school's cafeteria.

Track & Field conditioning will start Tuesday, January 28th and meet every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:00-4:30. Meet in Coach Boylan's room next week and be dressed to go outside. We will be going over to the Middle School weight room and using their hallways. Distance runners should be dressed for the weather.  This is for students NOT currently in a winter sport.  Questions? Geauga Growth Partnership (GGP) is holding a Career Exploration Open House on Wednesday, February 19th from 5:30pm - 8:30pm at the Kent State -Geauga Campus. Learn about local success stories, career pathway discussions, and presentations by local business leaders. There will also be local employers tables in a job fair style. Juniors and Seniors! The Geauga Growth Partnership (GGP) and local companies offer summer internships for current Geauga County students!
