Seniors, requests for additional graduation tickets or VIP loge box seats are due by this Monday, February 3rd. Check your school email to find the Google Form from Mrs. Talty, or stop by and see Mrs. Talty in person if you need more than the 6 free general admission tickets that will be provided to every student.

Geauga Growth Partnership (GGP) is holding a Career Exploration Open House on Wednesday, February 19th from 5:30pm - 8:30pm at the Kent State -Geauga Campus. Learn about local success stories, career pathway discussions, and presentations by local business leaders. There will also be local employers tables in a job fair style. Students can register online or go to the guidance page of the high school website.

If you’re interested in drawing, painting, creating music, writing, photography, or film, Curio is for you. Newly revived, the club Is an outlet for your creativity. They post exceptional works of art by students on our blog for the community to see. It is their goal to spread, grow, and curate the talented pieces of creativity from all mediums coming out of West G. Remember, don’t be afraid to share your work with them and the school, it’s a great first step in furthering your ideas and abilities. Juniors and Seniors! The Geauga Growth Partnership (GGP) and local companies offer summer internships for current Geauga County students! Go online for information and to apply to be a summer intern! You can also find the link on the guidance page of the high school website.

Seniors, West Geauga Education Association is pleased to offer the opportunity to win a $500 scholarship to a student who is looking to pursue a career in education or who is the son or daughter of an educator. Applications are due March 13 and are available in the guidance office!
