Attention 11th grade students! The 2019 PSAT/NMQST (Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test) will be given on Wednesday, October 16th.  By taking it you be considered for the National Merit Scholarship Competition.  You may register to take the PSAT with Mrs. Porter in the guidance office.  (Check your email from September 11th for a flyer).  The deadline to sign up is Tuesday, October 8th.

The Northeast Ohio Suburban College Fair will be held at John Carroll on Thursday, October 17th from 6:30 to 8PM. Visit strivefair.com to pre-register.

Interact members, please check your emails for a Google Form to order a club tshirt. See Mrs. Talty with any questions.

Football presale tickets will be on sale for $4 during lunch periods this week!

The Girls Cross Country team ran a great race yesterday in the scorching heat, finishing 2nd at the Cuyahoga Hts. Invitational. They just missed out on 1st place by only four points!

In the girls varsity race...

Julia Martinez -6th
Emily Vash -10th
Emily Berdis -19th

In the JV race...
Julia Hausser -finished 2nd
Maddie Barker -4th

Congratulations girls!

Congratulations to the Boys Cross Country team who won the George Gross XC Invitational hosted by Cuyahoga Heights HS. The Boys defended their crown, winning for the second straight year. Yesterday's record breaking heat did not phase the boys-
Winning the race was JR, Patrick Garret.
Finishing in the top 10 and medaling were:
Jr. Kenny Kirk, SR. Joey Tirabassi, FR. Chris Whiting, and FR. John Mikes.
also running were SO. Dakota Deets and FR Grant Congdon.
Also Congratulations to SO. Aiden Murley-Schaffer who finished 2nd in the OPEN race.

This week brings more college reps visiting. All will be here today starting with Niagara University at 8am, University of Alabama in Huntsburg at 9:30, and University of Dayton at 10. You can sign up for these visits on your Naviance. Please see Mrs. Porter in guidance if you need a pass for any college visit.

Ms. Thrasher is in need of large pieces of cardboard! Examples of larger pieces would be refrigerator or furniture boxes! Please talk with Ms. Thrasher if you have anything like this around the house.
