This Week is Spirit Week, the days are as follows:

Monday - PJ Day Tuesday - Jersey Day Wednesday- Flannel Day Thursday - Meme/Vine Day Friday - West G Spirit Day

Attention seniors: The West Geauga Education Association is offering a scholarship for seniors pursuing a career in education, or who are the son or daughter of an educator. Preference will be given to applicants pursuing a career in education. Academic achievement, community involvement, and activities will also be considered. Deadline is March 15. See your guidance counselor for details.

West G’s Enchanted Forest Snow Ball dance will take place on Saturday March 2nd from 8-11pm. Tickets are $20 each and will Be on sale during lunch the week of the dance. You definitely don’t want to miss out on this wonderful enchanted evening!

Student Council will be hosting the annual Red Cross Blood Drive on Friday, March 8th. Students may donate during the school day if they meet donation requirements. Please check you school emails for donor information and to sign up for a donation time. Please see Mrs. Meyer with questions

The official Track and Field season will begin Monday, March 4th. Meet in room 124 at 3:00pm and be ready for practice. Make sure to also have a current physical to compete. See coach Boylan or Taurasi with questions.

Congratulations goes out to all the track athletes that competed in a preseason meet at Independence Friday night. The following athletes had some notable performances: Grace Gyetko -2nd in the 400m dash and 3rd in the 200. Julia Martinez -5th in the mile. Emily Miklausich -4th in the 55m dash. Skye Hackathorn -4th in the 800m run. Trae Zimmerman- 1st in the High Jump. Nick Henry -4th in the 55m dash. Stazzone, Zimmerman, Henry, Garcia -4th in the 4x200 relay. Joey Tirabassi -4th in the mile. Johnny Patterson -2nd in the 800
