Attention students: We have two retainers that have been turned into the office. If you are missing your retainer please stop in the main office to see if it is your retainer.

All students who wish to purchase a yearbook can do so from Ms. Thrasher in the library.  The cost is $70.  Please bring a check made out to the WG Board of Education. Supply is limited… get yours while they last!

Attention Students. Do you have a great idea for a new club activity? Do you know others who are interested as well? Do you have a staff member in mind who you would like to advise? If the answer is yes, then please check your email for a message from Mr. Puskas containing a link to a new club/organization proposal form. Thank you for considering, as we think it is important that all students participate in an curricular activity, club or organization.

Leave early forms for the day of Prom are now available in the attendance office for students who are confirmed to be attending Prom and/or After Prom. Please remember you must be in school thru the end of 4th period (10:41am) to be able to attend.  Leave early forms must be signed by a parent and turned in to the attendance office no later than Thursday May 12th.

Class of 2022!  This Friday, April 29 we will have Senior Decision Day in Room 124.  You will attend during your English class.  This is a day to celebrate your future plans.  We cannot wait to hear if you will be entering a career, attending a trade school or college, or enlisting in the military!  If you are not currently in an English course at WGHS, please be sure to stop in during the day.  It is very, very important for you to complete the Senior Exit Survey in Naviance.

Please remember to wear your gear (hat, shirt, or uniform) to celebrate your future plans - college, military, and career!

After 2 years of lockdown, are you ready to expand your horizons and get out and do something?  The counseling office has a loaded job board for those of you looking for work, or if you're interested in attending a camp, there is a link on the school counseling page that lists all kinds of summer experiences.  Have questions?  Come see us in the counseling office!

Seniors!  Wondering how you're going to pay for college?  The counseling office has lots of scholarships available with deadlines fast approaching!  You can stop by the counseling office, or peruse Naviance to see what's available.

Students who are not Taking End of Course Exams April 25th - 28th are not required to be in the building during testing times.   School transportation is only available at normal arrival and dismissal times on these days.  Students who need to utilize school transportation but are not testing will report to the cafeteria upon arrival and remain there until testing is complete.  Students who normally drive or get rides to school may not arrive earlier than 9:15 on testing days.

AP students coming in for Bootcamps need to arrive and be in their designated area by 7:25.

Excel TECC and CCP students may have schedule conflicts with their off campus classes.  The attendance office is aware and will make a note for West G teachers if that is a case. Please make sure you notify your off campus instructors if you will be missing instructional time with them.
