The Counseling office has many important reminders -

College visits this week include:

Tuesday - Lakeland Community College, University of Kentucky and Notre Dame College

Thursday - University of Mount Union

Youth to Youth, a youth-led program in Geauga County, focuses on drug education, prevention, and educating our classmates on the long-term, negative effects of substance use. Youth to Youth is looking for students who consistently do the right thing and are committed to spreading awareness.

Be sure to also check for scholarships. They are arriving daily and a great way to help pay for college.

Need a job? The job board is bursting! Come check it out in the counseling office, or find the job board link on the school counseling page of the high school website.

As always, questions can be directed to Mrs. Porter in the guidance office.

Attention athletes!

Boys Basketball starts on October 29th. Any boys that are interested in playing this year must attend tryouts on October 29th from 5:30-7:30 and October 30th from 10:00-12:30 in the main gym. If you are unable to attend you must speak with Coach Fisher. Prior to tryouts, conditioning and open gyms will continue today and tomorrow. All open gyms will be from 5:30-7:30pm.

Have a chromebook out for repair? Ms. Thrasher has mountains of fixed chromebooks waiting to be picked up. Please check your email to see if your device is ready to be picked up.

Applications for NHS have been sent out. If you met the qualifying threshold you should have received an envelope with the forms that need to be filled out and turned in. You should have also received an email with a digital copy of these forms. If you have any questions about the process please contact the NHS Advisor, Mr. Rader. All forms should be completed and returned to Mr. Rader in room 105 or the main office mailbox no later than the end of the school day Monday November 1st.
