Congratulations to the West G Ultimate team for winning their first game ever, with no subs, at the Youth HS 4v4 tournament yesterday! Emily Foell had two goals and one D, Drew Foell had three goals, one assist and one D, and Ryan Raines had six goals and one D. The next HS Ultimate tournaments are October 10th and October 31st. If you are interested, see Ms. Blair in room 132 for more details about practices, how to get on the team Remind, and future events.

For any of you who will be taking an upcoming SAT or ACT, StudyPoint is offering the practice test events, and since they do so virtually, you can take the practice test from your home. Anyone who participates will also receive a free score analysis that breaks down how you did by section, question type, and content area so you can get a sense for where you might want to do some review prior to the real thing. They run multiple practice tests each week. If you're interested you can view available dates and register for a test. You can find the link on the school counseling page of the high school website.

We will have our first meeting for the Gay Straight Alliance (GSA) club on Tuesday September 21st at 10:45, for both period 5A and 5B, in room 124, the lecture room.  All are welcome and encouraged to attend! Feel free to bring your lunch.  If you have any questions or are unable to attend, please see Mrs. Cunningham or Ms. Wilcox.
