Students, the Chesterland Rotary Club is sponsoring a school-wide speech competition with the chance to win monetary prizes. Interested students should write a speech about a topic they are passionate about and relate it to the Rotary 4-Way Test. See Mrs. Talty for more details about the competition. All speeches are due by Monday, March 16th, and will be presented on Wednesday, March 18th during advisory periods.

Seniors! Applications for the Chagrin Valley Woman's Scholarship are due in the guidance office by noon on Friday, March 6th. That's TOMORROW!

Also, applications are now available for the Kiwanis Club of West Geauga scholarship along with many others. Log into your Naviance to see all the scholarships available!!

Next week is SPRING FLING SPIRIT WEEK!

Participants can enter a drawing at lunch to win gift cards! Don't forget to buy your dance tickets starting on Monday!

If you have any large cardboard pieces not in use, please bring them to Ms. Thrasher ASAP! Examples would be: refrigerator, TV, or furniture boxes.

Driver Education classes will start Monday March 9th for the next two weeks. Classes will conclude Thursday March 19th. The classes will be after school classes in room #111 from 2:45 p.m. to 5:50 p.m. For more information you may register for classes at the Suburban Driving School website at suburbandriveohio.com, or you may call the school for more information at (440) 729-4360.

Attention all Interact members: There will be an important meeting this Monday, March 9th, in the library during 5A. We will elect officers and board members during this meeting, so please make every effort to attend.

Join West G's Best Buddies in "Spreading the Word" about inclusion during our day of action. Today tables will be set up in the cafeteria during 5A and 5B where you can make a pledge to be a better friend, help someone in need, sit next to someone who is alone at lunch. There are so many ways to spread inclusion, choose yours!

The senior class is selling gourmet popcorn through March 20th, please see a Senior student or Mrs. Dwyer to purchase.
