Any students interested in being a camp counselor for 6th Grade Camp in late March should pick up an application from Mr. Krippel. Completed applications are due Tuesday February 18th. If you have any questions, please email Mr. Raines at the middle school.

Interested in playing chess for fun? On Tuesday 2/11 please attend a meeting in room 130 during 5A to learn about Chess Club. We plan on meeting once or twice per week and please see Mr. Teare if you would like info but cannot attend the meeting.

Looking for a job? Check the job board in the guidance office or on the guidance link of the high school website!

Seniors! Want help paying for college? There are lots of scholarships available - check in your Naviance account or in the guidance office.

ATTENTION SENIORS:

The Senior Intern Packet has been posted on the high school and guidance websites since last week. Your preliminary paperwork and proposal are due to your senior sponsors THURSDAY. Please see Mr. Marino in Room 111 with any questions.

Seniors, West Geauga Education Association is pleased to offer the opportunity to win a $500 scholarship to a student who is looking to pursue a career in education or who is the son or daughter of an educator. Applications are due March 13 and are available in the guidance office!

ANY student interested in competing on the Track & Field team this spring MUST see the girls coach (Mr. Taurasi) or boys coach (Mr. Boylan) ASAP to sign up. The season begins on Monday, Feb. 24th and the coaches need a tentative roster now.

Just a reminder, track conditioning is taking place every Tuesday and Thursday. Meet at the middle school weight room at 3:00. See the coaches with questions.

WGHS is hosting the second blood drive of the year on Friday, March 6th. Check your school email for details and the link to register. Remember that your simple donation can help save 3 lives!

Congratulations to the swim team for an outstanding showing at sectionals this past Friday. There were a total of 36 PRs! Qualifiers for the distinct meet this Friday at CSU are Steven Aronov, Josh Burdecki, Ashley Chase, Catelyn Chase, CJ Contizano, Asa Eddy, Eli Harvey, Max Pesto and Rebecca Whitmer! Go Wolverines!!

Feb. 26th is WG Chipotle day! Make sure you come out and support your senior class between 4 & 8 pm. See you then
