Attention all WG students, Key Club is holding their first annual Rock Off, May 4th at 7:00 pm in the middle school gym. If you are interested in participating in this event, sign ups will be held March 4th-8th during 5a/b in the cafeteria and sheets will be posted in both the band and chorus room. The winning group or solo act will also get their name engraved on a plaque that will be hung in the band and chorus room. Student Council will be hosting the annual Red Cross Blood Drive on Friday, March 8th. Students may donate during the school day if they meet donation requirements. Please check you school emails for donor information and to sign up for a donation time. Please see Mrs. Meyer with questions

Are you a Junior or Senior student in need of a summer job or looking for full time employment for after graduation? Then plan to attend the Geauga County School Job Fair! This event is free and specifically designed for high school students looking for employment. It is being held at the Berkshire High School on April 11, 2019 at 10am. Bus transportation will be provided on this day. Please sign up through the Google survey that was received by email. If you have any questions, please see your counselor!

Punderson Manor Lodge and Conference Center in Newbury is having a job fair for seasonal employment on March 16, 2019 from 11am-2pm. More information can be found on the job board in the guidance office.

Attention all students, Ignite your Career: Pathway to Success will take place on March 11th from 6-8:30 PM at Sisters of Notre Dame Education Center. This event will give you the opportunity to hear about the latest hiring trends, meet at tabletops with some of Geauga's top employers, learn how to choose a career that will make you happy, and to hear one local success story.

Attention all Interact students: There will be a meeting for all members today during 5B. Elections for next year's officer and board members positions will be held during this meeting.

All friends, neighbors, and Broadway enthusiasts are invited to attend West Geauga High School’s performances of “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.” Performance dates are Friday, March 15th at 7pm, Saturday, March 16th at 7pm, and Sunday, March 17th at 2pm. Tickets are $7 for students and $10 for adults.

Looking for a summer job? State Crest Carpet and Flooring in Bedford is looking for someone to fill an entry-level full time position in customer service. More information about this job and others including contact info and starting wages can be found on the job board in the Guidance office!

On Friday, March 15th the 8th graders will visit the high school. Any junior or senior who is interested in being a tour guide please sign up on Ms. Widman's door. Thank you!

Attention all senior students planning on attending college next semester! Geauga County Engineer’s Office is hiring prospective college students for temporary summer positions. Specifically, you will be helping with road crew. It is $11 dollars an hour and will have up to 40 hours a week Monday-Friday.
